With the First Touch Program you will be engaging parents in building the early foundations for their baby’s mental health development.
Supporting parents and babies to share moments like this, is one of the most important things you will ever do.
This nationally accredited course gives you a practical, strengths-based, evidence-informed approach to hone-in on parent-infant interactions.
Once qualified to teach The First Touch Program to new parents, you will be able to use a range of activities to help parents build their confidence in recognising their baby’s cues. At the same time, you’ll provide parents with skills to respond sensitively to these cues using baby massage, other forms of healthy touch, movement, voice and eye contact.
By supporting these early interactions you’ll be using your knowledge to help stop more parents and babies from falling through the gaps – now, and for generations ahead.

The training program in cue-based infant massage education is also endorsed for CPD by the following professional associations.

The Australian College of Midwives.

Occupational Therapy Australia.

The Australian Association of Social Workers.
